Five students
and a Google Form
bouncelab.co is about a month old. It started as a student venture at NMIMS ASMSOC Mumbai, and the first real decision we made was to stop guessing and go and ask people what they actually wanted.
The survey came first
We put out a Google Form before we bought a single thing. It asked a plain question: what do you actually want to buy that you cannot easily get around here?
The answers came back pointing the same way. People wanted sporty things. Not apparel, not gear with a three-thousand-rupee price tag — something cheap, physical and immediately usable. Something you could hand to a friend on a Sunday morning.
Balls were the obvious answer, and the more we looked at it the more obvious it got. Everyone understands a ball. Nobody needs to be sold on one. And the gap between what a ball costs wholesale and what it costs in a sports shop is wide enough to run a small venture through.
The five of us
All students at NMIMS ASMSOC Mumbai. No warehouse, no staff, no investors — five people, a WhatsApp number and a stack of stock.

Small on purpose
We are not pretending to be a shop with a shutter and a counter. We hold stock, we answer WhatsApp, and we bring the ball to you.
- Four things, four prices. A ₹20 smiley, a ₹60 moon ball, a ₹400 football, a ₹500 basketball. No confusing tiers.
- Every size, same price. A Size 3 football costs what a Size 5 does. We are not charging you extra for more material.
- WhatsApp is the shop. Message us, tell us what you want, and we sort the rest out in a couple of messages.
- We deliver it ourselves. Around Vile Parle and the campus we hand it over in person. Further out we charge by distance, from ₹50.
What we are not, yet
We are a month old
There is no long track record here and we are not going to invent one. What we can promise is that we answer fast and we turn up.
Stock is limited
We buy in small runs. If a colourway is gone, it is genuinely gone until the next lot — ask and we will tell you when that is.
No payment gateway
Orders finish on WhatsApp and you pay by UPI or cash on delivery. We would rather say that plainly than fake a checkout.
